FIGHTING *IN RUSSIA HEAVY ENEMY LOSSES (Rec. 2.0 p.m.) Rugby, Feb. 16. A Soviet communique states: “Our troops on 16th February continued their offensive operations against the enemy. A number of localities was captured
and heavy losses inflicted on the enemy in manpower and war equipment. On 15th February 11 German planes were shot down in an aerial ! combat. Our losses were seven. On 16th February three German planes were shot down near Moscow’.” — 8.0. W.
