A DRAWN MATCH The match played on the Nelson College ground between College First XI and Athletic-Y.M.C.A. resulted in a draw. College batted first for 159 runs, a number of batsmen reaching double figures. When Athletic-Y.M.C.A. opened their innings at 4 o’clock A. Halley, who had also bowled well, gave the side a good start, scoring 42 before he was caught off Challies. M.
