It is officially stated in Cairo that consultations concerning the constitution of the new Cabinet will begin today. Following a visit by the secre-tary-general of the Walfdist party to the chief of the Cabinet, there are rumours in Cairo of the possible formation of a Wafdist Ministry, or at least of the party’s sharing the responsibility of government. The Wald party has the largest popular following of any of the Egyptian parties, but Lecause it refused to participate in the last general election nt has virtually no representation i n Parliament.
