(OINTKY LIERAKV A mccimg was recently held al | Mapua to inaugurate a branch of the I Government Country Library Scheme, when a committee was appointed and arrangements made for housing the books, etc. A ,tart is being made with I some 25 members, and Mr Reid has kindly set a room at the disposal of thp committee for the accommodation of ihe books, to be open on Thursday , afternoons at 4.30 for half an hour. i■;ct on Saturday evenings at 7.30 for) two hours.
