BUTTER AND MARGARINE
I In a Press Association message from . Auckland, published yesterday, refer- I ence was made to the problem of regaining the export butter market after the war. The message stated that “The Australian Control Committee was now establishing an advertising fund by a levy on all export butter to get butter back to its pre-war consumption in Britain and other world markets. The j committee aimed at raising £1.230.000. and half of this amount was already in hand.” It has been ascertained that the amount quoted is incorrect, the actual sum aimed at being £250.000.
