LEVY ON HIDES
INCREASE IN THREE CLASSES The Hides Committee advises thn the export levy on ox hides and cov hides is increased by three-farthings : pound, and on calfskins (other thin freezers) by threepence a pound. The levy on bull hides and yearling hide, remains unchanged. These rates are to operate on al hides purchased in accordance with th< Hides Emergency Regulations, 194( • No. 2), and which become free for export on and after to-day.
