RELATIVES TO BE PROVIDED FOR (From Our Parliamentary Reporter > Wellington, This Da The sympathy of the House and it o people was extended to the relatives of the constables and Home Guardsmen who lost their lives at Koiterangi li - the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) when speaking in the House of Representatives last night . Mr Fraser said that the six men had lost their lives doing their duty "faith - fully, courageously and well," and their names would be recorded in the history of the country as well as jti the records of the police force for their courage, devotion and self-sacrifice. Svmpathv also went to Mr Ridley, who was lying seriously ill in hospital The whole country had been staggered and shocked at what had happened, added Mr Fraser, and in addition to ox tending all sympathy to the bereaved the Government would be expressing the opinion of the House and people when it said that every possible ade quate provision would be made for those bereaved
