BRITISH CARGO BOATS
REPORTED TO BE DETAINED AT SHANGHAI j (Rec. 11.30 a.m.) London, Oct. 12. The Berlin radio states that it is reported from Shanghai that two British cargo boats laden with cotton were prevented from leaving Shanghai for India and compelled to unload. —U.P.A.
