CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE IN INDIA Rugby, Sept. 11. The Secretary of State for India. Mr Amery, stated in the House of Commons that on Ist July persons serving sentences in connection with the civil disobedience movement in India totalled 12,129. including 28 former Ministers and 290 members of Provincial Legislatures.—B.O.W.
