QUEEN’S MESSAGE
NEW AIRGRAPH SERVICE London, Aug., If In the inauguration of the airgrap. letter service from Britain, by whic civilians may now communicate wit troops in the Middle East, the Quee sent the following airgraph to Genere Sir Claude Auchinleck, Commander-in Chief of the Imperial Forces there:— “In this, the first message by th new airgraph service to the Micldl East, I wish to tell you on behalf of a the women at home how constantl our thoughts turn to all those unde your command. I know how grievou is the separation which parts wife fror husband, and mother from son, but would assure those whose achievement have already filled us all with prid that their example is an example c inspiration and I do not doubt th£ even greater accomplishments lie befor them. “Many of them come from homes i our Dominions, and to them I send special message of greetings. The valour has been the admiration of th world, and to one and all I wish speedy victory and a safe return t their homes and those whom the love.”
