ANNUAL MEETING [ The second annual meetings of the Enner Glynn Domain Board and Imj provement Committee were held at the ; residence of Mr A. J. Cotton on SaturI day night, Mr A J. Something would also be done on the small areas near the railway crossing and on Die piece near Mr Phipps's house The acre reserve further up. near Mr F. H. O'Brien’s property, would have to wait for the present, as jt would be too expensive to do any work there Two members of the committee had gone overseas Messrs E. L. Murray and J. M. May. The latter was now in Egypt and the former had returned from Fiji and was attached to the Nelson Defence Office. Corporal Murray was given a suitable send-off social and presentation prior to leaving. He had been a live-wire member of the committee and members were pleased to see him back again. Working “bees” had been regularly held throughout the year and much good work had been carried out. With the warmer weather and longer dav>. these would be resumed shortly. Thanks were due to all donors of cash, timber and shrubs, and members much appreciated the provision of afternoon tea on working afternoons, ar.d also the use of members’ homes for meetings. The ladies were thanked for providing supper after all meetings. The election of a committee for the ensuing year resulted as follows. Mesdames Phipps and Murray. MessrA. J. Cotton. 11. Stanton. E.
