LOGAN—RENALL J i On 26th July 1941. at St. Michael's j j Church, Porangahau. Hawkes Bay. the (wedding took place ot Josephs Jane. ! second daughter of Mr and Mrs N. G. E. ißenall. and Lex Merritt, elder son of 1 (Mr and Mrs J. A. Logan, of Nelson, j j The Rev. L. O'S. Beere was the 1 ! officiating clergyman. The bride who r I was escorted by her father, wore a i i gown of medulla satin fashioned on i slim fitting lines which was swept into! C ja long train and her veil of limerick (lace, a family heirloom, was arranged I from a coronet of orange blossom, and j ' she wore a pearl and gold necklace' | (also an heirloom). Her bouquet was), iof ’cream and white roses, freesias, c stocks and sweet peas. Misses Boris land Penelope Renall, sisters of the, I bride, and Miss Margaret Williamson. iof Wanstead, were the attendant I maids who all wore early Victorian : taffeta frocks in lavender, pink and green respectively. Each carried a bouquet of sweet peas and spring i flowers to tone with her frock, and J; j matching flowers in her hair. Mr { Halsey Logan, brother of the bridegroom was best man and Mr Denis . Ryan of Waipukurau. groomsman. The J. reception was held at “Wnireka” the i home of the bride's parents where Mrs,, IRenall and Mrs Logan received guest' Mrs Renall wore a fur cape with her | model gown of black embossed lace; L lover blue tall'eta, a matching hat and a shoulder spray of orchids. Mrs Logan i wore a becoming gown of black silk! : lace over black satin finished with aj c (spray of red roses and wore a black ” j and wirte hat. When Mr and Mrs Logan ' i left for the South Island the bride ' j travelled in a teal blue Russian frock trimmed with grey i.strachan. with hat I and accessories to match. The bridej groom will be entering the Air Force , j shortly.
