OPERATIONS AGAINST ENEMY SHIPS NIGIIT ATTACK ON NORTHERN FRANCE j (Rec., 9.15 a.m.) Rugby, July 28. j When an aircraft of the Bomber Command visited Dunkirk docks, ; Coastal and Fighter Command machines carried out other operations. An official communique reporting their activities states that ships were ex- | tensively attacked in enemy waters by | aircraft of the Bomber Command [while aircraft of the Fighter Command attacked enemy aerodromes in northern France during the night. One aircraft of the Bomber Command is missing from these operations. Three enemy bombers were destroyed over Britain. —B.O. W.
