Ingram presided. The speaker was Mr J. R. Cooksey, Dominion Commissioner of Scout Training, who made an appeal to Rotarians to give their support to the Scout movement j n .ts effort to equip boys for their fi. ; h> against evil throughout their lives. A prohibition against the barbarous custom of cock-fighting was issued n 1654 by Oliver Cromwell. Caterpillars avoid black objects, but are attracted by white.
