Ingram presided. The speaker was Mr J. R. Cooksey, Dominion Commissioner of Scout Training, who made an appeal to Rotarians to give their support to the Scout movement j n .ts effort to equip boys for their fi. ; h> against evil throughout their lives. A vote of thanks to the speaker was car l-M'd Ol file M "i i?i iir. rian J '(; McKay. Visitors to the luncheon were Dr W. D. S. Johnston, and Mr H. N Toomer. A prohibition against the barbarous custom of cock-fighting was issued n 1654 by Oliver Cromwell. Caterpillars avoid black objects, but are attracted by white.
