£2,862,000 DECREASE £505.000 FALL IN IMPORTS A decrease of '.862,000 in the value of exports compared with the figure for the corresponding month last year is shown by the preliminary return of overseas trade for April, issued by the i Customs Denr.rtment in Wellington i yesterday. Imports were lower also, the fall in this instance being £505.000. Following is a comparison of the returns for April in the past five years:-
