OBITUARY

MR JOSEPH GUERIN Mr Joseph Guerin died at his residence, Nottingham street, Karori, on Tuesday He was born in New Plymouth and served on (he staffs of the “Taranaki Daily News” and the "Hawera Star.” and joined the staff of "The Dominion" u’ben it began publication in Wellington. He joined the "Evening Post” in 1909, and became a member of the reading-room staff, of which he eventually became chief. He retired in 1932. His brother, Mr W J. Guerin, was chief sub-editor of “The Post.” Mr Guerin is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons, the younger of whofn, Sergeant B J.
