CROSS INTO SYRIA LIVELY REACTIONS AMONG GARRISON (Rec. 11.45 a.m.) London, May 21. Free French troops it is reported have penetrated Syria, states an in-* dependent French agency dispatch from the Syrian frontier. Their j strength and the conditions under j which they crossed the frontier are j unknown.
