AMBULANCE CORPS

BRITISH VOLUNTEER EFFORT [British Official Wireless] Rugby, May 20. The British Volunteer Ambulance 3orps is posting for service a further section of 24 ambulances with the Southern Command. Manned by female volunteer personnel, the ambulances iave been given by organisations in ;he cities and towns of Britain and Nor;hern Ireland, eight vehicles having seen given by the Rotary Clubs and ;wo by the Pharmaceutical Society and he National Pharmaceutical Union. This makes a total of 205 ambulances jrovided by the British Volunteer Amjulance Corps for service with the Briish and Allied armies. Of these two ;ections are manned by female and one section by male volunteer personnel.
