PLEA FOR CLOSER COORDINATION SPEECH BY GOVERNOR-GENERAL [United Press Association! Auckland, May 21. A plea for closer co-ordination of patriotic effort in the present crisis was made by the Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall, when speaking at a welcome luncheon given to Lady Newall and his Excellency by the central committee of the combined patriotic societies of Auckland. “Individual efforts are hot enough." said his Excellency. “They must be unified and co-ordinated if they arc to have the maximum effect, and the pre- i sent crisis demands the maximum.
