NELSON POULTRY ASSOCIATION

CARD EVENING Another most successful and enjoyable evening was spent by the members and friends of the Nelson Poultry, Pigeon, Canary and Cage Birds Association at the Marina tearooms, when the popular game of Flag 500 was played. Although it was a cold night the log fire made the room warm and comfortable. A daintysupper was served. Mr S. F. Hockey, president of the Association, thanked all those who attended and hoped to see them all attend the next social. He also congratulated and presented the winning prizes to Mrs C. Sharland, Mrs J. Sharland, Mrs Pellew and Mrs Christall. The consolation prizes went to Mrs Cade, Mrs Hurrell, Mr Hurrell and Mr Hurrell, junior. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr S. F. Hockey.
