Clarke. acting Medical Superintendent, recommended that Dr Stenhouse be appointed hospital radiologist with the services of Dr Campbell as consultant when necessary, and that a qualified X-Ray assistant and masseuse bo appointed. The report was adopted GOLDEN IV\Y HOSPITALS The House Manager (Mr U. R. West) reported on the equipping of the jTakaka and Collingwood hospitals. On Mr Grant’s recommendation it was decided to open up a spring on Mr Bai- ! gent's property and have the quantity! of water measured with a view to its] use for the water supply to the Takaka j hospital. The Takaka branch of the Labour Party wrote asking for the approximate date for the official opening of the Collingwood and Golden Bay j l Cottage hospitals.
