The supplementary Budget estimates total 1,130,000,000 yen, which, with the basic estimates, means a new high grant of a total of 12,870,000,000 yen for the 1941-42 Budget, compared with 11,630,000,000 in 1940-41. The French consulate announced that Thailand and Indo-China have decided to prolong the armistice for a fortnight pending the conclusion of the peace negotiations in Tokio.
