STATE ADVANCES BEATEN WIN FOR BAIGENT'S In the House cricket match played at the Botanies last evening, Baigent’s made 137 (Holland 45 retired, J. Du Feu 32, Smith not out 33, Ward 10). State Advances replied with 75 (Ching 25. Preece 17, Rice not out 16). The only wicket-getters for State Advances were: Preece one for 12, Kerr one for 15, and Ching one for 21. Bowling for Baigent’s, J. Du Feu took three for 15, Martin two for 5. Holland two for 14. and Edwards one for 6.
