HOSPITAL V. ODDFELLOWS I HOY SECURES “HAT TRICK" The Hospital junior cricket team played Oddfellows on Saturday last at the Hospital ground, which was in excellent <yder. The cricket was spoilt by rain, which caused abandonment of the game at 5 p.m. However. Hospital had by then secured a win on the first innings.

Oddfellows batted first and made 47 runs. 20 of which were made by J. Goodman. Winnie and Thomap bowled for Hospital. without change, and secured six wickets for 22 runs and four for 25 respectively. * In Hospital’s innings (103 runs for eight wickets' Morrison made 17 runsMcMurray 34, Langbein 14 and Hibbert 13. Bowling for Oddfellows, J. Goodman took one .wicket for 22 runs. Thomas two for 19 and Hay four for 21. The feature of the bowling was Hay's “hat tricki” which is the first to be recorded in Oddfellows’ competition games.
