The attendance was 13,000 and the track was very fast and the finishes thrilling. The totalisator for the day handled £59,782, against £54,995 10s on the corresponding day last year, an increase of £4786 10s. For the meeting the total was £196,732 10s, against £169,511 10s last year, an increase of £27.221.
