NAZI NEW YEAR MESSAGES I ! LEADERS PRAISE FIGHTING FORCES SUPREME CONFIDENCE [U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyright) LONDON, 31st December. Hitler and his military leaders have issued New Year proclamations to the German people in which they express supreme confidence in the outcome of the war a.nd praise extravagantly the German fighting forces. Hitler in his New Year message to the army refers to its glorious victories. “You have not only overcome the fighting forces of the enemies by the power of arms, but have morally conquered the occupied territories by your proud bearing and exemplary discipline,” he says. “At the desire of the democratic war agitators, and their Jewish capitalist wirepullers, the war must be continued. The representatives of a decaying world believe they can achieve in 1941 what they failed to succeed in doing in the past. We are ready. God Almighty will not desert those who. threatened by the world, are determined to help themselves with bold hearts. The year 1941 will conclude in the greatest victory in our justor}-.” Hitler in a message to the Nazi Party said: "The war will be continued to the end.
