Lance-Corporal Vernon Lindsay Norrish, previously reported missing, now reported died of wounds. Next of kin, Mr V. A. Norrish, St. Albans. Christchurch. WOUNDED (WESTERN DESERT) S/Sergeant Cecil Henry Broomfield. Next of kin, Mrs C. H. Broomfield, 92 Happy Valley road, Wellington (wife). Ddriver Edward Spencer Staveley. Next of kin, Mr G. Staveley, 70 Wellington road, Wellington (brother). Gunner Robert High Burton. Next of kin, Mrs M. M. Burton, 28 Kildare Avenue, St. Heliers (wife). Driver Robert Noel Campbell, wounded by enemy air bombs. Next of kin: Mr W. A. N. Campbell. Taumarunui (father). MISSING PILOT INVERCARGILL, Ist January. Advice was received in Invercargill to-day that Pilot Officer R. G. Stark was reported missing in air operations. He was a partner in the firm of Webb and Stark, public accountants. He joined the Royal New Zealand Air Force as observer in January, 1940, and left for England last July.
