NEW YEAR, 1941 WEDNESDAY. Ist JANUARY (NEW YEAR’S DAY) Post Office: Post Office closed in all branches. Inward air mails will be sorted. Air mails closed at 7.15 a.m. All mails, including steamer mails, will close at 7.15 a.m Late fee letters may be posted on steamer. Telegraph Office: Upstairs, Halifax street entrance. Open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Telephone Exchange: Open continuously. THURSDAY, 2nd JANUARY Usual hours of attendance in all : branches.
