SPEAKER FOR CAMP
SERGEANT W. E. BARNARD (Special to “The Mail”) NAPIER, 30th December. Three months’ military training y/ith the Second Hawkes Bay infantry Battalion is to be undertaken by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Hon. W. E. Barnard, M.P., for Napier. He will enter camp at Waiouru on 6th January with the rank of sergeant. Mr Barnard has abandoned his customary cycling holiday for this purpose.
