FRONTIER FIGHTING
LARGE-SCALE HOSTILITIES BANGKOK, 29th December. Large-scale hostilities have flared on the Indo-Chinese The Thai High Command declared that the French retreated after two clashes, leaving arms and ammunition. A report from Hanoi says French troops drove back Thai forces which crossed the border of southern Cambodia. Fifteen Siamese were killed.
