ABOLISHED BY GERMANS i U P A -By Electric ieiegraph-Copy right, LONDON. 27th December. Polish citizenship has been abolished by the Germans. It is announced in Poland that former Polish subjects who are able to prove their German origin will obtain German citizenship. Poles and others not of German race will be allowed to apply for the status “people under German protection.” It is also announced that German settlers in Poland are to receive special rebates in income tax, as well as in industrial and real estate duty.' which means that many of them will have their taxes halved. The object is to oust Poles from business and commercial life in their native country.
