FURTHER REFUSAL
BULGARIA AND THE AXIS [U.P.A.-By Electric Teleeraph-CoDvriirhi SOFIA. 27th December. From well-informed circles it is stated that after a stormy meeting the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee overwhelmingly rejected a proposal that Bulgaria adhere to the Axis and sign the Three-Power Pact.
The Foreign Minister. M. Popoff, opposed the proposal on the grounds that they did not coincide with neutrality and Bulgaria’s desire to remain out of the war.
