Time. 2.41 1-5. Novice Handicap, of £120; six fur-longs.—6-6 Gold Nugget, 7.8 (Green) 1: 11-12 Kurawhi, 7.8 (Anderson) 2; 13-14 Central Star, 7.10 (For) 3. All started. Won by half a length; two lengths. Time, 1.15 2-5.
Juvenile Handicap, of £150; six furlongs.—3-2 Desert Maid, 7.12 (Hare) 1; 2-1 Palfrey, 7.4 (Messervy) 2; 4-4 Southern Wave. 8.6 (Wilson) 3. All started. Won by two lengths; three lengths.
Grandstand Handicap, of £200; six furlongs.—s-5 Spendthrift. 8.1 (Strathern) 1; 3-4 Lord Nuffield, 8.10 (Jennings) 2; 2-3 Spanish Lad. 8.13 (Brodie) 3. Scratched: Hearth. Won by a head; half a length. Time, 1.13 2-5.
