R.A.F. ACTIVITY
K ASS ALA HEAVILY RAIDED | British Official Wireless] RUGBY, 4th December. It is confirmed that in addition to the j two aircraft destroyed by R.A.F. fighters and bombers over Albania on Mon day two other enemy aircraft were desI troyed. In the Permeti area British fighters intercepted and shot down two enemy reconnaisseurs. In Italian East Africa Kassala was heavily raided and bombs were dropped on an enemy fortified position and a motor transport park was straddled. British planes also machine-gunned transport vehicles and enemy personnel. At Adardeb a Rhodesian squadron bombed an enemy camp, starting fires. Numerous reconnaissances have been carried out over enemy territory fronts. From al loperations the British aircraft returned safely.
