THE WEATHER
FURTHER RAIN, BUT IMPROVING TO-MORROW The weather is predicted to be cloudy with some further drizzle or rain, but improving to-morrow. After warm, humid conditions all week with a large amount of cloud about, rain set in this morning. The weather was slightly hotter yesterday, the temperature being 71.6 degrees, with only 4 hours 15 minutes’ sunshine, and warm during the night, as is indicated by the minimum temperature of 57 degrees The barometer was slightly higher this morning than yesterday, but with a light north-east breeze a steady drizzle commenced to fall.
