CITY OF RAYVILLE’S CREW

TWENTY-ONE IN AUCKLAND [United Press Association] AUCKLAND, 3rd December Twenty-one of the officers and crew of the American freighter Cit; of Rayvine, sunk by an enemy mine' off Cape Otway at the western approaches to Melbourne early last month are in Auckland. They include the master Captain A. P. Cronin. The City of Rayville, the first American vessel lost as a result of the war was sunk just after daVk, mg in a few minutes. All except one of the crew were rescued by naval and fishing vessels. Some of the crew have already returned to the United States.
