FINAL DAY AT FEUDING FRIESLAND TAKES CHIEF EVENT FAVOURITES DO WELL [United Press Association] FEILDING, 2nd December. For the concluding day of the Feeding Jockey Club’s spring meeting the weather was dull but fine, and there was a good attendance for an off day. The track was in excellent order and fast. The totalisator handled £15.950 for the day, against £14.284 10s on the off day last year, which was a Thursday. The total for the meeting was £38.392 against £34,334 ’Os, an increase of £4057 10s. When Advance Plane fell in the hurdle race and Prinihia fell over him, W. Grindlay, the rider of Advance Flane, received fractured ribs, lung injuries, and an incised wound on the jaw. J. Hayes, the rider of Prinihia, injured an arm and a leg. An inquiry was opened into the accident and was adjourned.
