SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS PROVISION IN FINANCE BILL [United Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The most important provision of the Finance Bill like’;' to be introduced in the House to-night, is the provision for the next stage in the Social Security benefits. It is anticipated that the Government will not endeavour to foi’ce the position in relation to doctors who have so far declined to make any arx-angement for providing practitioner benefits under the Act. However it is expected that Legislation provision will enable the Social Secui’ity Department to approve arrangements made mutually between doctors and patients for treatment at rates to be detennined by the Govei*nment. It is also anticipated that the present v. ar pensions will be extended to, veterans of the South African War.
