The weekly dance will be held in the Velma Hall to-night at 8 o’clock. Music will be by the Labour Dance Band of seven players. Dancing will be old time and modern, and prizes will be given for Monte Carlos and Early Birds. Dancing items will be presented by pupils of the Elizabeth Henderson School of Dancing. Supper will be served by the ladies.

A dance will be held to-night at 8 o’clock in the Oddfellows’ Hall. There will be two Monte Carlos, one at 9 o’clock and one at 11. Supper will be handed round at 10.10. The programme will be the old favourites including the Palais Glide and Gay Gordons interspersed with One Steps and Fox Trots. Mr H. Williams and Mr C. Reynish will provide the music and Mr G. L. Housiaux will be the M.C.
