APPEALS AT AUCKLAND [United Press Association] AUCKLAND, 17th November. A total of 2045 appeals affecting 1862 reservists out of 8300 drawn in the second territorial ballot, had been received by the Auckland Area Manpower Committee when the time for lodging applications closed on Saturday. However, it is expected many further appeals that were posted on Saturday will swell the number tomorrow.
