MERCURY FOR JAPAN
EMBARGO BY MEXICO [U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyright] MEXICO CITY, 23rd October. The Government has placed an embargo on 200,000 dollars worth of mercury at present in Manzanillo awaiting shipment to Japan. The embargo also freezes another shipment of the same amount for which Japan had contracted.
