Encouraged by the success of their first entertainment, members of the Catholic Women’s League are presenting an evening of one act plays in St. Mary’s Hall, Manuka street, at 8 o’clock to-night. These plays are bright and have been well prepared. Patrons are assured of a pleasant evening’s entertainment. A dance, i:* aid of the Motueka Air Force King and Queen, organised by Mr S. Bennetts, will be held in the Dovedale Hall on Monday next (Labour night), when patrons are assured of good music, a good floor, and homemade supper.
