BRIGHTWATER STOCK SALE
At the Brightwater Stock Sale held last Tuesday, the offering was comprised mainly of pigs, and a fair yarding of cattle.
Average prices were as follows: Fat ewes, 25s 9d; dairy cows, £6 2s 6d; fat cows, £7; weaner pigs, 14s to 28s; pedigree Tam worth sow, £2 2s.
The auctioneers would remind farmers that they would find it greatly to their advantage to send in entries for the sales in order that these may be advertised.
