GRAIN SHORTAGE
ESTIMATE FOR EUROPE WASHINGTON, 30th July. The Department of Agriculture reports that European supplies of bread grains are between 5 and 10 per cent under the peacetime needs, and the supplies of cattle feed are 10 to 15 per cent deficient.
