VULTURES AS PETS
A roving Hindu hermit has appeared i ear Dholpur (India) with two vultures . “nets.” Each day at noon he takes cis seat on the bank of the River ! Chambal and blows a horn. The vultures then appear as two specks in the j distance. They swoop down, alight by the hermit’s side, and open their beaks. Having been fed with such scraps as he can spare, the birds fly off to await the next ‘call.” They have followed the hermit about for years
