WAIMEA CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY

STAFF BALL The Waimea Co-operative Dairy Company staff expect to have a crowded hall on the occasion of their ball to be held at Brightwater on 4th July. With the exception of a small percentage to be handed over to the Domain Board for hall upkeep, the proceeds are to go to the Women’s National Reserve. Brightw'ater branch, to assist in war work. The Brightw'ater ladies W'ho demonstrated their organising and cooking ability during the campaign to raise funds for Centennial purposes, have banded themselves together with the company’s staff with a view to providing a special supper. Brightwater residents are well known for the excellence of their social events, and city and country folk alike can look forward to a most pleasurable evening while at the same time realising that their attendance will lend practical support for the furtherance of war work.
