AN EXAMPLE TO ALL

[To The Editor} Sir. —I have subscribed to “The Mail” for 30 years and this is the first occasion I pave felt the desire to ask you to print a letter. It is to thank the two ladies who collected for our Sick and Wounded Fund at the Post Office last Thursday afternoon. They stood in the cold and their smiles were a tonic to all of us as we gave donations, no matter how small, for this worthy cause. Their smiles were an example to all collectors. We give more freely when approached with a smile, so let us all follow their example and smile and give till it hurts.—l am etc., A MOTHER OF TWO BOYS IN EGYPT. Nelson, 23rd June.
