I The Republican Resolutions Commit- ; j tee unanimously approved the foreign -1 policy platform defining the Republi- ,' cans as champions of “peace, preparedi j ness and Americanism.” and denounci j ing New Deal foreign policies and put- • i ting the party on record as favouring J aid to “oppressed peoples” within the ! limits of international law.
