CANADA’S NEW GOVERNORGENERAL
EARL OF ATHLONE SWORN IN [U.P.A.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] (Received 22nd June, 2 p.m.) RUGBY. 21st June. Ottawa reports state that the Earl of Athlone was to-day formally sworn in as Governor-General of Canada in the Senate Chamber. The Earl and Princess Alice were welcomed by large crowds when they arrived at Ottawa. At the station they were greeted by Sir Lyman Duff and Mr Mackenzie King.
