SOLDIERS INJURED

CAR COLLIDES WITH SAFETY ZONE [United Press Association] WELLINGTON. This Day. Throe soldiers from Trentham, H. Kay, E. Harland and R. Gosden, were injured when the car in which they were travelling -collided with the Thorndon end of the safety zone opposite the Wellington Railway Station shortly after 11 o’clock last night. Kay and Harland suffered concussion and head injuries and Gosden concussion end shock. One of the men, who was travelling in the front seat of the car, which was a light model, is believed to have been thrown through the windscreen. The motor car was badly damaged, but the safety post of the safety zone was not thrown out of alignment by the collision. The Free Ambulance took the men to hospital.
